Ky-Mani Marley has been an established Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most affluent. He appeared in Shottas the cult movie featuring Wyclef. Ky-Mani joined Shang Records and recorded his debut album in 1996, With Father Like Son. This was followed by a number of singles including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia. They all contributed to Ky-Mani's reputation as a rising reggae artist. Ky-Mani and Praswell who are members of the Fugees formed a band in 1997 and recorded Avenue, a cover version Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley performed at Midem (international musical showcase) when it was held in Miami at the beginning of its run.
