Rosalia Vila is an Spanish flamenco singer and pop artist. Since her teenage years, Rosalia Vila has been involved in popular flamenco and music. Her music also strays into other genres like hip-hop soul and trap. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, however she still featuring the sharpness of older singers. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, has been a huge critical as well as commercial success. The album topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and won a Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. In March 2022 the set was launched following Saturday Night Live's performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of Saturday Night Live. Motomami was the only female in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times, and also the three Latin Grammy Awards.
